A couple of other threads sparked this idea. I certainly hope it hasn't been done before.
It seems that there is a bit of 928 trivia such as in, in car items, specs only to a 928, certain production do-dads, special items and accessories that lasted only for a year or two and who knows what for how long.
This could be an interesting thread and a lesson to a lot of us of things we never knew that we never knew about the 928.
So I will throw the first one out there...
Did you know that the throttle pedal can be adjusted to 3 different positions? Thats my guess as I had taken the 82 apart and there are 3 sets of locating threaded holes in the floor....the GTS has them too!

Did you know that in 88 they switched the rear seat release from an outboard location to an inboard location since it interfered with the 3 point rear seat belts added at the same time...

Did you know that the rear differential gears in the 89GT were straight cut (for better power delivery) rather than the standard helical cut gears (made for noise reduction).

Did you know that in '85 the tailpipe came in early one-pipe and late twin-pipe; and in '86 came in early twin-pipe and later S4 style, and that the 85 and early 86 body does not have the S4 mounts for the passenger side S4 pipe but even though the body has the path molded all the way back?

Did you know that the test port on the front of an 85/6 engine was never used except to disable/test things like idle stabiliser? Did you know that the S4 test port is under the LH and was never used?

Did you know my whole hand can fit in..., oh wait wrong forum.....
They say Inrdischot Red was only available on the early cars, both of the '87's I've had were Indrischot. One over black and one over Linen interior.
Indian Red, makes Guards Red look a little orange.

Did you know that the most versatile of the 928's as it regards wheel offsets, was 85/6, because of the mammoth 3/4-in spacer that can slip off or on, and massive studs?
