Yes, That's what I mean, It will of course not run until the belt is repaired but no bent valves. To me a major benefit of the OB years.

Did you know that the only way you can tell if you have an LSD on an OB-- that doesn't have any option sheet in the hatch - because they don't come with an option sheet back then - is to put it on a lift and turn a rear wheel with you hand. If the other wheel spins in the opposite direction you have an LSD.

You can still make a non LSD car fishtail sometimes -- which makes you think you have an LSD, but is not proof positive.

Did you know that above is not true. Did you know gearbox/differential has stamping under its casing which tells if LSD was installed at the factory.

The other wheel will turn the opposite direction with an open differential,
in the same direction with a limited slip.

Isn't it easier to just spin the rear wheel?

Did you know that the LSD in an OB is what the factory calls a "40% limited slip differential" but in reality it is a "100% fun differential."

No. There is no need to lift rear end to check numbers. Besides its possible LSD is so worn another wheel will not turn at all. Same thing can happen if gearbox is in neutral on non LSD diff.

Did you know that the parcel tray on the passenger side of an 89 is adjustable front to rear via a slotted hole in the mounting bracket. Did you also know that if you install it all the way to the front, it's impossible to plug the LH brain back in after replacing the carpet.

When an auto trans is in park, even a LSD will have the wheels spin the opposite way. I can't remember if I had to put in in neutral or in gear, to have the wheels spin inthe same direction but in park, it wasn't doing what was expected.

I know a much better way to determine if your car has LSD

Did you know that the 928 was one of the last Porsches available with a full array of leather options including switchgear etc.

Actually I'm not certain about that last comment but I've never seen a 911, 993, 996 or 997 with similar options.
