Porsche Option Decoder
I stumbled across this option decoder , authored by Charles Kindel: I have no idea how applicable it is to the 928 - but it worked great in decoding a 993 C4S options!

: 928'er Rick & I have been stripping a crunched '96 C4S. I just finished extracting the main DME harness to go with the complete 26K mile 3.6l VRAM engine, 6-sp trans, suspension, .... nearly ready to go to market. The code reader allowed me to check for LSD, ABD, etc ... so it may help in the water cooled house too.

It's been up for long time already. Has most of the codes. Only Adrian's options.pdf is probably more complete.

I agree I have used this one a few times. At the moment the link does not seem to work.
I must contact Adrian at some time, he lives relatively near me.
