Hello All, Old sharkster back in the Waters

Damn it. Just.... damn it. My condolences to Len's wife and family.
I just came across this thread; I missed it the first time around.
Len gets back into 928 Land and then a few months later....
Damn it. I 'spect Len had some words with the gatekeepers when he got there.
(BTW, the 'other' Leonard - Leonard Luab - was, as of a few months ago at Dave T's tech session in MA, still standing.)

A happy story...and than a sudden and sad end....
This story really makes you think about lives values and how everything suddenly can change.
My prayers go to his family in this difficult time and to all you guys enjoy every 928 minute while you can and be safe!

Damn! Two in one week is a real blow to us all!

If there is any solace to be had from this sad and tragic news - please go back ad reread Len's opening post in this thread: his unbridled joy in recapturing the spirit of doing things he loved, as with the 928 , left me with a warm and comforting smile.

As a fellow motorcyclist, I know the danger of riding on the street. For me, I know that every time I get on my street bike I may not come back...it's like the fine print on a contract. Serious and sobering.
That is one reason I am addicted to the 928 is the feeling of safety with all the mechanical enjoyment and feeling of speed; the bike mostly sits now.
I remember his earlier post about finding a new 928 and how happy he was to be back in it...This news is very sad.

When I started reading the thread, I didn't see the date and didn't realize that it was an old thread.
I had to actually re-read a section twice before I realized what had happened. I was shocked, what a sad story.
My condolences to his friends and family.
