Piccardo,

I think you've PMed me, but essentially the buyer will get a fairly accurate list of things he or she should be mindful of and a very accurate list of maintenance items (there are none pending at the time). As to the discount - see you PM

Gentlemen, you may very well be right about the car being stolen - this could explain how the car can be salvaged without any signs of serious damage.

BTW, the deal now includes a set of original S4 dish wheels wearing new Kumho rubber

Konstantin,

I have a couple of questions regarding your car.

Have you had any problems with passing smog (since the car was a salvage title)? I am interested in having a look at your car if it is still for sale.

I know in AZ - having a salvage titles doesn't mean it was seriously wrecked. It just means that the cost to repair the car, with OEM parts, exceeded the value of the car.

If the damage exceeds 70% of the cars value it usually gets a salvage title. A theft/recovery would possible be a 100% payoff and hence the salvage title. A few years ago there was on average 5+ stolen/recovery explorers at a Detroit salvage auction (co-part) every week. Some would be pretty much complete and some were completely stripped. They almost always had salvage titles.
