Rapper "50 Cent" just had is Lamborghini Murcielago painted with that paint.

The irridescent paints (SP?) start at about $1100 a gallon through BASF: so this pricing is within margin. Also, probably on gallon would cover it, but would want 2 gallons of clear over it. Most colors look completely flat until cleared. It's the clear that scratches & can be buffed out: the more the clear, the more buffing you can do after you wetsand out the dust imperfections & orange-peel.

This is a good alternative for dash repair. I have seen this process done on paintball guns and loaders. They can do Carbon Fiber, snake skin or anything you can imagine. I have been wondering about the feasability of doing a 928 dash for some time. Now I see that someone already does this to dashes. Its worth looking into. Theres a place in Miami that does this. I can try to post the number if anyone is interested

I love the picture on their website of the biker dude painting .50's Lambo. No spray suit, no mask/respirator using $1200/gallon-dry by the time you blink paint on a $190k car. Either he is super talented or super retarded. And I'm thinking by his choice in tailors, the latter.

Some states have rules about what percentage of a car can be chrome plated. The main concern is blinding other drivers. But I think it's one of those laws that few cops know about, and even fewer would care to enforce. There are a lot of wild show cars all around the country. Cops are not that concerned about them. Street racers, yes... Hot rods, not so much...

this reminds me of the current OCC commercial where they chromed a whole bike or something and had to wear shades to be near it... it would definately tick off pretty much anyone near it on a sunny day

I'm sure it will, but just think of how cool the flashing red and blue lights will look reflecting off of it.
