Jim,
You mean you haven't gotten the 'Easy' button ready for
pod or dash mount yet?
Ernest (NYC) Used Behr from 928Int'l with fresh side tank seals.

Has anyone put the C&R radiator in yet? I test fitted mine and it's evident that the overflow nipple on the drivers side is an inch higher that what it would be on the stock Behr radiator. The hood won't close like this. The only way out I see is to remove the rubber mounts at the bottom. This will lower the radiator about an inch so the overflow line will clear the hood, but that will also lower the fan assembly and leave a gap between it and the hood and not have any shock mounting for the radiator. Not sure on how to proceed.
It would have been better if the overflow tube came out the front of the side tank, not the top.

Are you sure the bottom rubber mounts are seated properly in the grooves in the rad? When I installed my Devek radiator I almost resorted to trimming the sides of the rubber bumpers to fit into the groove in the rad, but I managed to rotate them to a position where they would fit into the groove. They were a bit oval-shaped. I don't recall whether they can be loosened and moved around like the top ones, but you might look into that. As a last resort, you might consider cutting the bottom rubber pieces, but you need as much cushioning as you can get down there IMHO and should double-check clearances, especially for the sheet metal screws that attach the front lip of the belly pan and protrude toward the bottom edge of the radiator. Doesn't sound right.

Mount point to the top of the nipple... There is no way the hood can close. The cross bar on the hood is right above the nipple as well, so no head room so to speak.

If the hood hits that, it will likely hit any 90° fitting you put on there. So, are the lower supports fixed or adjustable? I can't see mine with the belly pan on.
