Can anyone check a car for me NorCal (Brentwood)
Hello-is there anyone that could take a look at an '84 for me in the Brentwood area of Northern CA. Thanks in advance, can work out some payback. Jim

Bill and Steve-thanks, I will contact seller and get the address and phone info for him. He is off work on saturday so if that day works for you guys it should work for him. This is a low $$ car and I have seen one pic of exterior and understand interior is a little ruff. If you have a digital cam that would be great. Drinks are on me. Jim

Just to a burnout right in front of the sellers house.....tell him your 928 is stock and a bit out of tune, typically it has far more power!! He'll look stunned...and you say..."Yours won't burnout like that?...there must be something wrong with it!"

Left a message for the seller on his answering machine.
Yeah, if it won't burn out at least a block, then that's a $5K deduction for a rebuilt motor. And or course, we'll have Steve's car there to show what the interior and engine compartment should look like on an average 928. Deduct $4K for restoration.

We were not able to get a hold of the guy in time to do it today. Bill may have a chance tomorrow.
