Car was sold early in the day. Said somebody came over with cash. Too bad we didn't get a chance to beat the price down to nothing.

Bill, Steve-thanks for trying, he was only asking $3k for the car and the one picture I saw didn't look too bad, but it was not enough to make an offer from. I will keep looking. There is a n '86 in NY that I have received a ton of pictures of that needs some brake work that doesn't look too bad, shipping costs are a pita though. Jim

Yeah, if it won't burn out at least a block, then that's a $5K deduction for a rebuilt motor. And or course, we'll have Steve's car there to show what the interior and engine compartment should look like on an average 928. Deduct $4K for restoration.

EXACTLY what I was thinking!!!! After seeing that combo the PO would have to pay $3-4K to the new owner just to take it off his hands!! :>)
