Default Project 928 from down under...

Just thought I would share my good fortune - I bought this right before the Project 928 .pdf was posted here, so i thought I had wasted money, but since I got it I am very happy for the purchase.

I got this off an Amazon affiliate site - some local bookseller in Australia was selling it. Got it for @ $188 including shipping, and as you can see it is in almost perfect shape. Very, very cool book, and I think i got it for a pretty decent price.

I'm kind of a computer nerd, but I can't stand reading PDFs of books on screen. Having the original thing is SO much better.

Good find, Bill! I'm with Mike on this one too.... I'd settle for the PDF if I couldn't get my hands on the book, but I prefer the book.

I just checked on Amazon and they have new one in stock for $295! So it looks like you got a great deal. I agree with Mike and Dave, PDF's are fine for online stuff, but they don't make a very good coffee table book and even harder to read in the john.

I agree with all of you - the .pdf is great, but no substitute for the real thing. Just in case anyone is in the market, the place I got it from is www.abebooks.com (no affiliation). It's a great resource for used and out of print books. They are a local bookseller aggregator from all over the world, so you can still support local, independent booksellers while having a single place to search.

Looks like there are several Project 928's out there - ranging from $250 to $450 :-O
