What we need is to get Mark or Jim from 928 INTL to send out the VIN #'s for those cars that ....... went to parts or ....ahem... the crusher.

How many are already gone????

I'll take any year or any other data concantenation needed.

Shane has an excellent idea too ... we need a list of the Recently Departed (OMG what a pun! -- sorry).

I think we could comb through the Rennlist archives and dig out every vehicle which has come to grief, then compare with what is on your list. Compile a scrub list of problematic cars and then scrub the data down to end up with a good data list of the Dearly Departed.

Matter of fact, I vote to make that portion of the list "Dearly Departed" with appropriate funereal graphics.

Also, we can scrub all the Rennlist "scammer" postings about the various eBay scams, and plug those in to the data.

I did this kind of a data scrub for the Vibroplex Company's semi-automatic Morse code keys which have been around for about 100 years. Long story.

Let me know by email how I can help. misterfixit@loveable.com

Cheers,

I'm still a rookie, but will be happy to give it a whirl. I'll take the 1981's. I'll be glad to do the 1980's as well, but if you want me to stick to one year to make sure it's done the way you want, that's your call. Just tell me what I need to do.

Regards,
David

Thanks David, I'll put you down for both 80 & 81's. Thanks. With respect to some of the earlier cars, seems there are fewer of them out there so the task should be relatively easy to handle. Thanks again.

I can help with the '87s too, or any MY you don't get covered. So how do you deal with the temptation to get another one while looking at all of these beauties online?

Most is not all of them will be in Canada right? I thought that fit right in with Euros? Were you thinking the same thing?
