As 9x8 said it is a 93. The turbo in my avatar is the 94. Ironically my 93 964 and 93 GTS are both Amazon green. I guess I like the color.

The 928's do feel heavy compared to their little brother the 964. But that is what gives it a true GT feel and wonderful at high speeds on wide open roads. I never felt so relaxed behind the wheel of a car as I do when driving my 928. Just a pleasure to drive. The 964's especially the turbo feel lighter but are very high strung. All three are completely different but all Porsche.

I also think 928ntslow has the best wheels so far... =0) I'm surprized nobody has te-37s or works. They have perfect custom sizes for porsches. They should already have sizes for the 928 since pre jgtc (renegade international racing with hardly any rules hahaha)

Dunno.

I saw them at 1010tires.com
They are not super expensive too.

(And they do them in 18x8 / 18x10... )

Canada Price :
http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?w...eelmodel=Cup+4
(Seen them at around 160-170$US peices...)

Discount Tire doesn't seam to sell Sport Edition.
But TireRack does. (But somehow, when I input 928 as car, it just shows me the 17x7.5 / 17x9.5 version.)

Mike,

If you know the owner of that red '85 928S you might want to let them know they need to do something about that one front wheel we are looking at in the pic and maybe the one on the other side too... It looks to me like a rear wheel on the wrong end of the car...

Default ROH Wheels

This is my 1980 Euro S with ROH Sekta wheels 17*9.5 60 mm offset, currently running 255/40 on the front and 285/40 on the rears. Kumho now makes a 295/35 17 that wll be on the rears when I replace the tires later this summer

Default Roh Wheels

One more shot of the car. I had just gotten to cleaning the car and could not stop myself with the camera. I really like the look of the weels the deep offset and big curve inward on the spokes allow for a really deep outer lip on the wheels. Even with the low front end I do not have problems with the fenderwell clearance. I did have to go to double rack bumpers to keep the tires from rubbing on the inside.

I like those as well. Nice classic look - kind of reminiscent of Panasports. The widths/offsets are the same @ all 4 corners, I take it.
I never liked the look of large amounts of negative offsets on 7 or 7.5" fronts, but with a 2" wider wheel up front, there's more of a 'deep dish' look in the fronts. It looks like you struck a really good balance w/these.
Do you have room for spacers in the back to bring the wheels out toward the lip a bit more & be more in line with the fronts, fender lip-wise?
Regardless, nice!

VT928 your car looks great with these fitted. Remind me of 'minilights' that cooper S's were fitted with. A favorite of mine but could never find them in such a good size.
Is that the correct name for them ? ROH Sekta??

Cheers,
Glenn

Koren,

The wheels were purchased from off Ebay, from GroupA wheels. They are in New York, out on Long Island if I remember correctly. I paid 600.00 for the four of them several years ago. I do not know if they are still available.

There is no room for spacers on the rear, I have about 10 mm clearance between the tire and the fender on the rears, I may have to roll the rear fenders to clear the 295/35 tires I plan to put on soon. I think 5mm's of clearance at the fender may be to close. The 295/35 tire almost a perfect match in diameter to the 225/50 16 tire that came on the car from Porsche.
