I always liked these, but they don't make them anymore. If the spokes were body color and the rim chrome they would be tough to beat. (belong to don in MN)

Just got these back from Wheel Worx, outside Baltimore, MD. Can't wait to put them on the 928.

I think many people forget how much of a difference a new style wheel can make in the appearance of the 928. It updates the look drasticly

Hey! Those are the wheels I have on mine (18x8.5 / 18x10). Didn't think anyone else had them on a shark. That car even has identical rub marks on the front fenders where they rub when mounting 235-40/18 tires coupled with a tad too low ride height =(.

I also just realized that the 18x10's have a 68mm offset whereas the fronts have something like 52mm... hmm... have to try mounting the rears in the front.

Thanks for the compliments. It is a good looking car, and will always have a fond spot in my heart. If I ever get a pole-barn, I will get it back. Garage space is a bit of a premium.

For the record though, I really like the look of the carrera lightweights. Might have to upgrade later on.

Ben- I remember drooling over those wheels at SITM. The look is so clean!

Thanks for posting that pic, Brian. I've got the aeros on my car, am planning on painting my wing, and will tint the windows this spring. If I get those wheels, that'd be my car. Cool!

I also went with the 18" 996 5-spokes last year.

Gives a nice OEM-look upgrade without being too 'blingy'.
