For the man who started teh thread, Chaadster, this is for you.

This is not Chaad's car, but same color and will be the same wheels. He asked me to photoshop a couple of scenarios for him. He was thinking body color spokes witha black rim. Anyway, here's what I cam up with.

Original
Black Chrome
White Spokes - Black Chrome rim
All body color
Gold 17's (Yeah, Baby! )

Thanks for the compliment, Rick. Some of the newer takeoffs definitely give a more modern look to the 928. Plus, you can get 'em pretty cheap.

But after having them for a few years, now I'm thinking I need a little more bling factor. I really like the painted silver with polished lip look. Its just deciding what to get that's tough.

Can anyone id these wheels. You have to screw on the valve stem to add or check air. Would like to get an extra in case I lose the one I have.

They're AT Italia "Riva"'s. (the company used to be called ATP). Treat your wheels carfully, because they don't make them in the 928 offset anymore.... (as Tony found out last year)

BTW, the Porsche metal valve stem caps fit nicely.

Thanks for that info! Is there any question that can't be answered in this forum?

Well, so far I think these are in the running for the best wheels on a 928:

I saw a set at the dealer either on a Cayman or a 911. Didn't like them at all - looked cheap.

Pull the distributor caps, turn the rotors by hand. If you have any trouble whatsoever doing that .... sigh a sigh of relief.
