Default Climate Control Sensor Cap

Hello all,

The climate control sensor on my dash is cracked, which i understand is a very common issue. I see that there are a number of caps designed to go over the damaged unit...which one looks closest to stock?

Thanks,

Wayne

I bought a metal metal replica one from jager eng. Goes in place right over your old one and looks great! They even have them in different finishes if you don't like the black one.

This is the way to go. Before Jager made these caps I fixed mine the only way available - removing the console and replacing the entire sensor unit. PITA. Jager's solution is infinitely easier and less expensive. Porsche produced this problem by very tightly binding the unit to the dash so that heat expansion breaks the face.

I got one in powdercoat from Jager but I think they do them in a smooth finish now. The rough powdercoat looks sort of out of place.
