I cleaned it when i pulled it last summer. I polished the spider with a 3M grinding wheel and sanded the cam covers and block then mothers mag and aluminum polish.
Contrary to what some think the material of the spider and plenum have not lost any shine or luster with time. No dulling at all.
Our engines with the spider are works of automotive art.

I would Chris but i am still in the dark ages, no digital camera. The one in my avatar was taken by another owner at the boston shark party.
If I had one of those cameras, i would have taken some pics the other night after i washed and waxed my euro. I took it for a drive and got some gas. Not many on the road on a sunday night, it looked awesome half under the lights at one of the big self serve islands.
The view from 3/4 back angle shows the the lowness, width, and perfect lines of our cars.
The 928 is just COOL!!!

Very True! Something about the florescent lights really bring out a car. Any time I would go to the car wash, I would have to step and look for a while. The florescent lights just makes the car really glow.
