The Dragon is supposed to be something like 318 curves, in 11 miles? Hope the trip to the Dragon is before the event, 'cause Sunday at 1-ish, I gotta hit the road back home.... I prefer the veiw and breakfast, up at the top of Beech mtn., myself.... The drive up and down is spectacular!

I just reserved a room at the BW. They don't have any rooms left with king's, they are all taken. So, me and my wife have to settle for 2 twins. Oh well. June can't get here fast enough!

OK I'm booked!!
This will be my first SITM, I just bought the car in Oct 2005, and it's been hibernating since November
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you nuts!

Anyone heading to SITM from the North Western States or provinces?
I'm thinking 2 full days of hard driving.........one way!..........or could join up w/travellers leaving from West of the great lakes.
just checked mapquest; its 2500 miles, may need an extra 1/2 day.
