I agree with Rix & Nicole. Linen. Standard scheme in '89 I believe. My Slate grey car has the same interior as yours. Rather it did. The carpet was beyond salvage and is now charcoal VW stock. Yours looks in good shape.

Thanks Brian, I have looked there, but nothing seems to match exactly. Problem is colours are difficult on computer screens.
