Default Interior codes

Can anyone tell me where to find a list of interior codes, just about every other code is available.

My paint code is L37B & next to that it looks like NK. Any ideas ?

The upholstery seems to be a quite common off white colour, but I need the actual colour to order matching leather care products.

Thanks.

I'm also having difficulties finding an interior part for my 944...my interior code is 'XP'. I've been told this is called 'light grey'. ( strangely enough, all of the seat parts in a 944 have 928 part codes- i assume the seats were originally developed for the 928? but even that makes no sense as 911's had the same seats before either 44s or 28s, if i'm not mistaken )

I tried to order a seat hinge cover and got the WRONG color yet again- the part numbers are the same no matter what color...and the one that auto atlanta says is 'grey beige' has the extension on the part number of 'UC'.

But the part is too tan for my interior....$55 later and non-returnable.

They do not list a part with the 'XP' extension.

I tried once before an got a hinge cover that was too light- probably 'linen' instead of light grey.

The parts people have no idea about interior colors...they are of little help.

I inquired on this board about interior codes a long time ago....yet got little response.

I find it hard to believe that we are the first to encounter this problem.

There HAS to be a complete list of ALL interior codes....i can't believe that for all these years the parts people at Porsche and customers have been getting by using "well, it's sort of a greyish /beige/ tan / linen / cream / coffee color...depending on the light...you got a part that will match??"

UC is color code for Caramel
I don't see NK or XP listed, if you have pics I'd be happy to look into it further

Obviously we need this list to be public. What color is this or that is very common question. Any chance on geting it available?

Porsche Colour Code and Material Sample book has this info
panzer (I believe that was you) called me today and I think I got him straight
most of the color codes are in Pet, but you can't use them verbatim as special orders may not appear in the year they were generally available (ie, special order 928 with 911 interior/exterior color, see my S4)

Hi Rixter,

Here are two pics of my interior, with & without flash to try & get true colour.

My codes sticker in the rear looks like NK for the trim, but it is scratched there & I cannot be accurate on that, may be HK ?

I'll double check the book for other possibilities, but as Nicole says above, looks like linen

edit: the only other color for that year that's even close is 5VT SilkGrey, but it's noticably darker than LinenGrey code 7VX (leather) 4WX (leatherette)

SilkGrey would also be more grey and less beige, or warm. I'm pretty sure it's Linen, or LinenGrey
