Default Boston - Worcester, Mass. Rennlisters?

Is there anyone here in that area, that would like to take a look a '90 928 for me?

Here's the link to the car http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEUS%3AIT.

Address is Foley MotorSports, 894 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.

An independent shop in the area, European Motors, has done an inspection and a T-belt/wp change. Any more information or help would be greatly appreciated!

THANKS!, Russell

I could check it out this weekend. I was actually in there about 5 weeks ago looking around. They seemed a little overpriced but had some nice inventory. PM or email me to work out details..

I took a ride over there about a month ago. At that time they were asking 19K. I told them I would be interested in paying around 17 if it was the right car for me, they said OK come take a look. I'm looking for near mint car to be 928 #3 so I would probably be extra picky..........the car looks better in the pics than in person. It has quite a few paint blemishes. The interior showed wear befitting a car of that age. Manifold has that peeling paint syndrome that I hate. I would call it a good daily driver candidate but not the showcar I'm after. Since I've seen the car they did the t-belt but I still think 17 might be a little high.

I should add....back when I was looking it was not an e-bay situation, they were selling the car off the lot with whatever standard used car war. they use. The 19K also would have included the t-belt job.

It looks like the car has been "keyed"?

if so it wasn't like that the last time I saw it. Unfortunatly when the car didn't meet my needs appearance-wise I never asked to drive it. Sounded fine at idle though.
I found the folks in the office there to be helpfull and they never tried to BS me. If you are interested in the car give them a call, I think they would give you straight answers.

Thanks for the info. I am looking for that near perfect car also to replace my current '88, so your opinion is very relevant.

Thanks again!

I think this has been for sale longer than just 5 weeks. I remember seeing it advertised in September.

Run a carfax on the VIN. Another Rennlister did and there was something he didn't like on it. I do not know what it was - he didn't say.
