I am surprised you didnt go for the standard Honda Civic with "mods" route though...
EDIT: I just realized you don't have the car yet.... in that case your in for a treat.

Seeing that it is an 82 Euro S it will have K-jet injection. Very straightforward system. Looking forward to pics. Btw, how much did you score it for??

If as you say ..."needs fuel injection work" it would seem that getting it SMOGGED might be an issue ! Has it been registered in California and smogged ? California DMV in some cases have a BIG problem with Euro cars since many lack all the required US federal emissions equipment including cat convertors. I wish you well but be very very sure it is smogged and California registered before you pay for it. Also note it may also NOT be an S many 4.5 liter standard Euro cars had spoilers added along with a 928S decal just before they were sold to the American tourist (who could not believe how cheap it was)... The recommendation for a prepurchase inspection is based on the fact that many many new 928 owners find that their "new" car needs more work and $$ spent than what you are paying for this car. Even if this car is in great shape it is normal to spend $2,000 to $3,000 per year just keeping up.
