This really is an awesome car and the pearl white metallic does make it very special even if that is the only significant option the car has. Someone asked where the car is, it is in the Columbia, SC area. The owner is in no hurry to sell and will wait until someone with the means and desire to buy this car comes along. He is already having second thoughts about selling after I took all the pictures and really loves the pearl white color.....

The car above is a 1989 930S Cabriolet that is also in pearl white. It too is for sale and like the GTS is in immaculate condition. It has a really cool interior done in dark gray with off white piping and black accents.

The owner of these cars actually considered ordering a 997 in pearl white metallic but Porsche refused to paint it.

Here's one of the two cars together.. sort of.

H: I used to know what that sticker was but frankly I don't remember and I forgot to get a picture of it. [edit] Sorry H, I thought you were talking about the yellow sticker you can see in some of the pics. I didn't get a picture of the other sticker. I'll try to get one.

17/26 MPG? How's this? The stats I've seen for mine are 15/19, which is about what I get (a bit higher on the highway, actually). This has a higher final drive, and a bigger engine. Do people who don't lead-foot it actually see that kind of mileage?

Here is the window sticker from the 930S. Guess Porsche really didn't want to paint pearl white by 1995 based on the price.... Gotta love the price of the slant nose option though. $30k

OK...that hurts. A new car sticker, for an 89 turbo slantnose 930. Ouch. With custom paint . How many miles on this car Chuck ? Maybe a "tad" more sporting to drive than the GTS too, no wonder if one gets sold...

Hey Chuck - how much does he want for the 930?? (That, along with the GTS are my 2 'dream' P-cars).

Will he do a deal if I buy BOTH? (Assuming, of course, that I win the lottery this weekend!!!)

Turbo + cabriolet + slope nose + custom paint makes that 930 one very special 911 .For many years Porsche would not put the turbo into a Cab due to concerns about chassis flex so very very few turbos were originally cabs. The 930 s slope factory package because of the $30,000 ticket was also rare (most slopes were aftermarket and vary greatly in fit and finish) So that truly is a rare combination.

He hasn't decided on a price yet but it will probably be somewhere around the price of the GTS. The car has ~51k miles.

WOW...that 930 just screams EXOTIC MUSCLE MONSTER to me. I have to say that I never did care for the slant nose, but the combination of the wheels, cab, slant AND color has me reconsidering. That car STILL looks like a $120K+ car. Absolutely beautiful!

Having both cars???....game over! I would be sleeping in the garage...by CHOICE! What a combo...the perks of higher living!

Chuck
I'm sure the pearl metallic looks way better in person...metallics just don't photo well.... 22K miles in concours condition.... he should hold out for top dollar! About the only thing that could make that GTS more valuable is a 5 speed.... It is priced higher than some of Wilhoits similar GTS's....but it is more unique.... The question is.....how does its condition compare to your GTS (+froggy)? It sounds very good....maybe comparable to your blue GTS...but better than the black GTS? Either way it is exceptional!

Interesting how the COA and original window sticker price don't match...know I understand why mine (the one I estimated) and the COA aren't exact either?
