Don't like the wheels, but a very sharp car. What are you looking to get for her?

I remember when that was for sale in 2004 or something. Even the wheels are stock, an option having them painted body color in the center.
Goes without saying....Nice!!!

BTW, you're not nuts; if you have more 928s than you can use and take care of.

I remember this one very well. If you let it go I hope it is to someone on the list who will treat it like royalty. A very beautiful Shark.

Yup, you are nuts. If I could afford to buy one and just put it away so future generations could see and understand, that would probably be the one. Not driving the **** out of it would be the hard part for me.

Dave that would not be the one. Barney would definitely be the one.

Tom, you'd be crazy to sell it to somebody who wouldn't keep it as pristine as you have. If somebody is going to drive and mod it, it might as well be you.

H, Barney is modified. The blue car only has wheels (not shown in the pics) and a short shifter added IIRC.

I agree on this.

Tom: Keep it and consider opening a museum (or lending it to one). You have enough other 928s to drive. But under no circumstances sell it to anybody whowould modify it. There are plenty of other sharks to modify, but not this one - period.

And to answer your question: I don't think you are, but I'm pretty sure you have...

This would be the car for me. I would never modify a treasure like that!! I only puta couple K a year on my car now. I wish my truck was paid off, I might consider extending myself for this car.

You are not nuts if you have some equally wonderful project in mind to use the money for.

But you're certifiably nuts if you sell the car and just fritter the money away on groceries, utilities, and monthly bills. Then you'll end up with nothing to show for having lost a great car.

That would be the crime - to lose the car and end up with nothing really to replace it with.
