enjoy. this could have gone really bad, but it didnt! some of those mazda guys do pull themselves out of some bad situations, but then some dont!

Actually Mark, as absurd as it seems, I was in your class. The NASA class my car is built for makes it illegal for ITB (cam change and lower weight), so I ran ITE.

I feel bad, but i wonder if the evo feels bad for me!

ITB with cam change , 150hp ITE
ITE porsche 400hp ITE
ITE EVO 550hp ITE

The class is kind of funny. be nice to have them class it by hp to weight ranges.
ITE has had up to 30 cars in a single class this season.

You probably felt like i usually do in a PCA race. But, i usually feel pretty good in those races, as long as I have a few cars to play with!

150 HP would be a wet dream.

Aside from the cam and exhaust the engine is the stock ~90HP CIS. The cam we run is the euro GTI cam (only slightly hotter than stock), and the exhaust is the early factory type, which is supposed to flow a little better. I would be shocked if I have 100 HP at the crank.

I had a good time though, I had fun chasing the RX7s, while making sure I wasn't interfering with their class race.

By the way, it took you about 17 minutes to lap me.
