DR says the GTS PP will be sifficient. I believe him. I will try to do a write up when I get to it. I didn't pay much attention to it, but I think with DR's X-pipe, I won't have to drop the exhaust. Is this right? Should be fun!

Correct.

>Should be fun!

May not be "fun", but doing a 928 clutch job is the easiest I have ever done.

I have the same question a Ernest! When a another 944 I had blew the clutch because I added NOS, I replaced it with 951 clutch and PP, and machined the flywheel at my buddy's shop in a weekend! At the most 18 hours. Ed M

Heh if I do a clutch, I guarantee you it takes 33 hours. I am extremely slow. But it will be better than perfect. I never make mistakes. Riiiiight

I agree, I may take 33 hours to do a clutch, but that is 'cause I actually want to take 33 hours....Ernest, you sure they were not quoting you time on a transmission rebuild? Man, even a double hip replacement doesn't take 33 hours......

The 944 takes longer because you take, essentially, the whole rear drivedrain out of the car.

Duel disk clutch would require the timing gear change thing.

That is pretty ironic coming from a guy with this in his tag line ...

Damn MSDS headers getting in the way... Who needs 2nd and 4th anyway?

I've always wondered about that... why can't you just use an S2 or S3 flywheel? They have all the LH sensors. Are the sensors different?

I'd think the number of teeth would be SharkTunerable.

It is but it becomes a bit more complicated than some think.
