Lil Mama I do believe they have told you the truth. Search this forum for MURPH KIT and CENTRIFUGAL or SUPERCHARGER.

Kevin,

I know a couple of people who run Murph's kit and they wouldn't think twice about buying one again. They love them.

Do you know what your rwhp is now? Is the kit ic'd?

You could ask Tim or Carl what the boost pressure is for the Stage 1 kit and see if that seems to match HP numbers posted on Rennlist.

If you really want to roll your own, contact Tom F. or Imo. Imo built his from scratch. I think Tom used the remains of a FAST kit. I'm sure there are others who have homebuilt, but I can't remember any other names.

If you're going to be installing over the winter, let me know. I'm just down 15 and could give you a hand.

Matt,
I will probably take you up on that. Thanks, bro. Bill Ball, thanks for the good advice, although a little long-winded! LOL

Hi there.

It is the best kit out there. We made a couple of custom mods that we like, but Tim did all the work and makes a very nice product.

Thanks,

Garrity

thanks Garrity, starting to feel better about it, the car is a 5spd s4 and runs very strong now, and I didnt want to test the waters with this car until I was confident it would work well.

Tim put a whole lot of time and effort into his design and has sold quite a few. You probably won't have any issues at all and it will exceed your expectations. Total blast to drive!

I had a ride in just the Stage one kit. When you get addicted to the boost, and want more, all you have to do is get some water injection setup (with methanol) and have even more fun.

Also, you are getting more then what you described for your money. A NEW supercharger obviously, quite a few custom machined pulleys, quite a few oil lines and the required fittings, the pipes and hose-connections for the boost, all well-shaped just for your app.

Good luck, and well wishes.

The stage 1 kit is a blast. There is one by me, and it is a clean easy install. I have had the stage 2 for a year, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Once you get a taste of a boosted 928,there is no going back!

If you have specific questions, feel free to ask. You should talk to Tim Murphy or Carl.

Complete, easy to install and remove if needed for emissions testing. FWIW, my stage 2 passed NY state emissions on a rolling road dyno without difficulty, so a stage 1 with stock injectors (instead of the 30# I have) should run even cleaner.
