Andy must have done that towards the end. Its probably cheaper on his end, and easier for the person installing.

LOL! Sorry Derek. I haven't been dating new girls lately (found a keeper). The latest sexy pic would be of her. Look for the "Beth" folder (2nd page) inside of the "People" folder.

Default Hey Derek...

I agree with Derek...

Looking pretty pimp style... you need another porsche to go along with that image you are projecting...

I don't even know who that guy is in the avatar.
I almost always see him with grease on him.
Is that the same guy who has been pimping my ride?

Daryl,
Sorry it took so long to answer, on the road alot.
First - Tires. I am having great luck with the Sumitomo HTRZ 275/40ZR17, good for track and daily driving, long tread wear, and fairly cheap at Sear's. Nitto drag radials for the strip.
Boost - I am at 8.5 psi with an 8 rib pulley and belt, for no reason. This is where I have a question for the board...at 7.5 psi I was 460 on the dyno, I changed the pulley to 8.5 psi but my HP stayed at 460. I have an Ott X-pipe and RMB, but still have the stock exhaust manifold. Am I being restricted at the manifold, or is it something else? I am getting ready to order the big headers and run dual 3" with Borla's and X, do you think this will do the trick?
Thanks for all the great info. Have a great New Year! Woody

You showed 8.5 on the dyno meter?

I think regardless of where your bottleneck is, that kind of exhaust upgrade will definately give you some ponies. Hmm.... first supermodel to 500rwhp?

My first thought was that you had a small intercooler.... but the boost measurements comes after the IC so the intake ports themselves are seeing 8.5PSI. I *think* if the intercooler were a restriction, something strange would happen like only seeing a 0.5 raise in boost as oppose to the full 1.0 that a smaller pulley would offer.

What size pulley are you running right now?

Mike,
I saw the boost guage change from 7.5 to 8.5 with the pulley change. I think I have the 63mm pulley on at the moment. Marc says the headers should give 25-30 hp, but I think that is for a NA car. Since I did not see a boost with the additional psi, I would think the headers would give me a bit more. 500rwhp is the goal (for now) as long as it keeps running good.
Thanks, Woody
