Sir Bedevere and Arthur concluded that a witch that burns is made of wood and as wood floats as does a duck then if the witch weighs the same as a duck the case is proven and the witch can be burned.

Many years ago, there was a commercially-manufactured plug that meda some claims about inv=creased horsepower and torque. Looked a lot like this one. I tried them fopr a short bit in a 2 liter turbo project car, and they were no worse than the platinum plugs as far as performance, but were slightly better at (very) high inlet pressures, when detonation was a problem. The Big Challenge in that motor was finding a plug that would not foul during warm-up and low-load operation, yet would stay cold enough to avoid hot-spot detonation problems under high load. That plug did the trick.

I'm drawing a blank on the commercial name of the plug, however. It's either the age or the mileage...

Anyway, don't run down an idea just because you haven't seen it before. Good inventions start someplace.

Oh, the performance claims for most plugs should include the "compared to the old, oil-fouled plugs you took out" proviso. New, almost any plug will do the trick. Once the chareg is lit off completely, it doesn't matter a lot what color the insulators are.

No No No! It is the helical spinification of the magetic actuators which are the essential element! Look, we all know that the use of Superchargers is one possible route to increasing torque, power, weight to horsepower and the vivication of the exhaust stream, but we must never lose sight of the fact that when the cramistat is dehilicalized in a rearward fenster, the power to weight ratio canon is changed. Changed dramatically in some cases whereby the actual weight of the 928 is decreased exhorbitantly as the power in overall bhp (barking horses power) is multiplied in the opposite and unequal direction. This results in, of course, the possiblilty that the Shark will actually float above the roadway and friction will decrease to zero. By maintaining that state, again through the use of these heretofore secret and arcane measures known only to those who have received the awesome handclasp from the Master Illuminati, the 928 will float above the roadway at speeds equalled to only previously by the quantity of e-mails addressed to Dear Beloved, from the Late Prince of Nigeria, whose monies are now in secret custody but which can be recovered and Repaitriated with Your Help.

Please, I beg of you, Use the Power Sparingly! Remember that These Are Forces Which Are Elemental to the Universe! You must, absolutely must, intone the sacred phrase "klaatu barada nickto" each time you press your foot uponeth the Holy Pedal of Speed and Gratification within the Sacred Domains of the Shark.

This is All Secret: DO NOT tell anyone about this!

In the Name of the Great Boomshackalacka!

We've got about 3 or 4 hours until it's morning in Sydney.

BTW, is Rennlist time not on DST, or is it my settings?

NO,NO,NO....You all have it wrong, I have stodied the fenomenon for a couple of centuries now.
To have a 20% torque increase, you need to retard the explosion by advancing the electrical puls and displacing the Event Horizon of the spark at the same time. If my calculation are correct (wich, I think they are), that will not only give you 20% more torque but, an increase in HP by a factor ot 2X. Hence(sp), blowing your head off and propulsing you and your vehicule into the Dimentia dimension!

ps; I have a scientist friend who is actualy stuck in this dimension as we speek. Is name is Indrid Cold.

pps; I strongly advise on NOT fooling around with those Event creating plugs.

BTW, as anybody seen my toilet paper?

Damn, with all these cool ideas out there, I'm going to have a hell of a time getting my own invention off the ground:

Ken, at the risk of adding something useful to this thread, go to "User CP -> Edit options". You may have to experiment a bit with your TZ settings, but you can get it to read pretty close to correct time(depending on how close the rennlist server clock is to "correct").

For those of you who've purchased one or more of my patented "TURBOLATORS" I'm developing a completely new power system for the 928. It does away with air, fuel, AND spark.
My soon to be patented "C4 Motive" system uses a small volumn of C4 explosive and a 45 caliber shell. I'm just working on the "insertion" system now.
My computer predicts 23,000 HP.
My psychiatrist predicts more medication.

SS, this is one hell of an Event producing device you have there. Patend pending I presume!?
Looks pretty close to the one I described but BIGGER.
