The two rears have lines that go in from....

Anyone have the bosch part numbers for these things?

Just Relax, I have read the euro manuals backwards and forwards and upside down. I replaced my 2 FPR's with 928 spec. billet alum RRFPR's and it works great. The front is the dampner and the back 2 are FPR's. 1 for each bank of the engine, i even installed 2 O2 bungs on my custom exhaust (just like DR's post this morning) to separately tune each bank.

The regular workshop manuals have a good page that diagrams the whole fuel system including vac hose connections. I would not use bosch, i would go with 928 spec. on this.

Thanks TV. I just layed under the car for while and stared at everything. Sans manuals for the Euro (I have manuals, but I don't think they have the euro stuff), I thought logic would do it.

I have Adjustable reg I will install to the one side on the returns and the other side can be replaced with another dampener as I recall.

If you really want to know the euro get the morehouse cd vol 2 which has everything you could possibly want incl. the 86 page 84-86 LH TEST plan for the entire engine fuel and spark system, the 85 euro "whats new" pamphlet" incl. things like antenna in layered windshield, new connector for pod electricals, new heated seats, new tranny, ABS, etc. and one other booklet with cut-aways of engine, TB vibration dampner, plus lots of other stuff.

I lucked out with the A28.06 tranny.

I said oops earlier because last week when I went through the vac lines I looped the lines to the rear (what I know now are) regulators so they no longer got a vac reference, and referenced the (what I know now is) front diaphram.

I have it apart now and will reverse that and also put the reg on.

I have two gold diaphrams or regs in the garage - I have to find out the bosch number so I know what is the diaphram.

next is to drive the car and make sure of a few other things before I find a dyno.

Does the Euro LH have 02 feedback? If it does have 02 feedback wnen is it used?

My prior experience is only S4, CIS (nil), and L-Jet.

Open loop all the way. No O2 sensors ever, would not know what to do with the info. This has been discussed a few times b4 with folks like speake and others. You can see it on the electrical blueprint where the US 85 would have the line running to the LH plug connector for the O2 sensor input but the euro doesn't.

US LH 1985 version 2.3
EURO LH 1985 version 2.2

Different cars, different engines, different cams, 4 valve vs 2 valve, different maps, way different feel. US 85 has peek torque at 2200 while euro is 4000. The euro loves to scream where mine will accelerate faster from 5900-6300 then it will from 2900-3300.

I just put bungs on my exhaust for dyno tuning only.

Check to see if you have an O2 sensor box spliced in. Mine had a box from Neutronics spliced in that allowed the use of an O2 sensor. I jumped the wires back to stock, disconnected the O2 sensor, passed Ca smog just fine that way.

It might have allowed the use of the box but the LH 2.2 would have absolutely no use for any input. Different program and maps. If you have ever written any software, how many programs had a provision for mystery input of a non-existing variable??

Comical. Those federalisers.

Hi TV
Just a slight correction - the 85-86 32v US cars, and also the 84-86 Euro "S2" both use the 25pin LH 2.2

The US version (different part #) does have circuits for O2 loop, as used with those cars.

The Euro version does not.

87---> are all LH 2.3

I don't know of anyone who has ever tried to run a US version LH with a Euro fittted with an O2 sensor, as it would mean remapping both the LH and EZk boxes.

Here in the UK, cats and O2 loop were not mandatory until around '91.

Regards

you guys may have forgot, i took the one regulator and pinched off the return line to the tank with a vice grip. then, re-attached the return fuel line in case it didnt seal totally. even a half clamp off would raise pressure. On scots car we use only one fuel regulator and a RRFR, and were able to dial in the fuel ratio perfectly. this was all on the dual fuel pressure regulator system.

85s and S4s have one regulator rear passenger and two dampers, driver rear and the front.

all the euro 4.7 stuff, is set up like the US 82-84, with two regulators and one pressure damper.
