I'm planning a 4sp conversion on the '79 AT. Bought the tranny, but need a torque tube. The Big 3 route is not optimal for me right now, especially that I don't have a core to exchange.

Anyone has one for sale?

I think I'd like a core too. It has to be auto like Tarek. It doesn't have to be in good shape. Or even together. It just needs to be all there.

978-534-0477. He had a torque tube on Ebay for a '94 GTS 5 speed. It closed without a bid at $200. Not sure it's still available. Does not hurt to ask. Not sure if it will fit your car. Will it?

5spd are different the auto TT. Auto TT from 83-95.
