Default A question about diecast 928's

Has anyone heard when the 1:18 scale 928's will hit the shelves? I know they are being made, but have seen no release date.

They are only doing the 928 and the 928S to start. No S4 or GTS that I have seen. I still want one!

Last I heard they were pushed back until early 2006 - but there's more and more doubt that they will ever see the light of day. The only site I've found recently with even a guess says last month:

Well they are making 924's now so they sure better make a 928. the 944 and 928 are still "supposed" to be made, but I guess we will see. It's amazing when you look at some of the 1:18 cars that are made that no one drives on the road much less wants to collect a model of and the 928 is still in limbo. They better make one!

Porsche has a front engined water cooled set on their website. it contains the 928S4, 968, 924, 944, and don't look at the price either.

I keep watching the official import company's announcements - which come in plentiful - but no mention of the 928. I have followed up a few times, but they still havel no confirmed release date.

Seems like the 928 is on the back burner there...

I have a 1/18, black/tan S4, mint, with original box. Can't remember the make, I'll check this weekend if you are interested; $100, plus 5.00 shipping/insurance. PM me.

Now THAT is interesting. Maybe you can let us know who the maker is. We've seen S4 models in 1:24, but not 1:18. Was it a kit, or did it come assembled?

Thank you for your vote of confidence! I wish they would not let us wait forever...

$200 for 4 1:43 cars is a crime.

nicole, what kind of price can you get for the 1/18 AutoArt Bugatti Veyron?
