Poor old car. Cool interior though. "...easy restoration."

Damn...wish I owned a farm with a big barn! I'd have a 928 rescue service. What a shame.

First 928 I've seen with rocker rust. Looks like it was covered with bondo and its breaking out again.

Wow! That's mighty cheap. Be a good first 928 for someone with a little wrench skill.

it's 78 Euro #926 and imported by his po, the mileage is in km and the car has not been fully federalized
I believe this may be 1 of 2 Fern Green/OliveDrab combos made, I believe I have more detailed pics here somewhere
yes it's a project, but a rare color combo... if anyones interested in a resto I already have the interior dye matched for a 930 I'm working on and can get more with 1 phone call

Beautiful color combo! The interior doesn't even look bad despite the damn speaker hole and the tan carpet. It's a shame somebody had to go and add the spoiler.

H, do the WP on site and drive it back!

Rixter, this is the one you told me about?

this one is more than likely a one off, leather fronts/cloth rears, op art inserts
def needs a resto, appears as though hatch has been leaking and she spent a good deal of time sitting outside

Stop off at John Kuhn's or Carl Fausett's along the way and get that engine upgrade.

If I had the money and space for it I'd buy it in an instant. I want a green/green 928.

I'd better check my garage, woooo, good it is still there. Green of Green is an awesome color combo. When I first heard of it I thought how sick ( bad version) is that going to look but I must say that I love that color combo.

Yeah, the owner, Chris, want's $1500 for it. As interested as I am in it, I can't pay that much for a car in need of so much more at this time. [Edit: We're having a baby in April!] If I recall, When this car was last on eBay (around August), it was said that the seats had been redone.

I wish I had space for it. I can't buy it & then leave it outside for a couple of years. That would be way too sad.

If anyone's interested, be warned. The current owner told me (I contacted him right after he bought it - I didn't want to see those seats tossed out) that he wanted to turn it into a track car, then said he wanted to restore it. Then he wanted to sell it. Now he's auctioning it. There may be more wrong with it than we can tell.

Rixter sent me some very good photos of the car, I suppose they're probably on eBay - I haven't looked. If they're not, I would forward them to anyone interested.
