Love George, another 928 rocker is David Gilmore. In a Pink Floyd bio I read, they mention Gilmore in Paris driving at high speed at the Arch de Triumph scaring his American producer in the left seat.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but a car is only original ONCE. Change anything and it's no longer original.

You can restore it, but it's not original. It's a restoration.

HUGE difference.

But original is not the only criteria for good. As a guy named Pope once said, "only accurate rifles are interesting." But yes, you are right, change anything at all and it is no longer original.
