Default "GT" type resonators for sale

Anyone on the list that has an '87 S4, or a GTS that would like a bit more engine sound from their cars, Earl and I have a pair of the lighter weight, smaller, less muffling "GT" type resonators for sale on eBay. These could also be used with 86.5 cars but the driver's side would need some modification of the driver's side pipe that connects the rear of the resonator to the muffler. Here is the address: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMESE%3AIT

Pickup in southeast PA is fine. Thanks for the "time".

Default OOOPS!!

Looks like the address did not make it through "in tact". Search eBay Motors for: Porsche 928 GT resonators . It should come right up.

Correcto BerNard94. That's why the posting indicated "87 or GTS". Those had the large heavy resonators.

edit: the note below was an unsolicited response to 'BerNard94' s comment that "GT" resonators are incorrect terminology. As those posts have been deleted .... just having some sport Bernard, no offence intended: Come back and join the fun ...

Perhaps you offer a more succinct descriptive to allow identification of the two resonator types?
BTW, the 'fat' ones came off my '88 ROW/'ZZZ' car - and perhaps I hadn't correctly installed the 'wee' ones - for the differential in ground clearance was within 0-4mm; however, the weight differential is ~ 25Kg/pr ..... and with less weight, the sound improves, albeit a subjective call.

According to PET for USA for the right side:

928 111 094 01 = 87
928 111 094 02 = 88
928 111 094 02 = 88 CS
928 111 094 04 = 93

So, it would seem that the wee resonators were available from 88 to 91. Fat resonators for '87 and a different fatty resonator for the GTSs (perhaps they have flares ) PET makes no indication that the GT had resonators different from other 88 - 91s.

Small mids are cool and sound wonderful. However .....

If you have an X, you will need the larger ones ('87 S4 or GTS) unless you like shaking the foundations and waking the dead and getting noise tickets

Heirich, are you referring to an X without cats? If so, then I totally agree. No cats with or without X is loud. If you have no cats and an RMB then it is unbelievably loud. However, with cats and RMB and with or without an X it isn't too loud. The cats make the big difference.
