Thanks for the direction, Bill. My plan was to just replace the wet hose. If that's not a safe bet, please describe how I "jump the fuel pump".

Here Derek.

a simple additon to that jumper wire is to
1) make it longer
2) add a switch to it so you can turn it on and off when you need to.
I carry this in my glove box at all times!
PLEASE FIX THAT LINE/LEAK!

Fuel leak fixed...Thanks Bill & Tony!
I got busy last night on that fuel leak. I was able to just barely reach the suspect line without having to remove the rear intake adaptor (which I dont think I could have removed anyway...no access to the bottom bolts).
I didnt have any electrical stuff to fab one of those jumpers, so I skipped it. I replaced the hose and clamps with new ones and buttoned everything back up. Three hours from start to finish.
I fire her up...
I SMELL GAS! A quick look confirmed it was still leaking from the same spot.
I dove back in this morning. Changed the clamp. This time, BEFORE I buttoned her back up, I found a wire to use as a jump for that relay (no clips to be found, just bare wire ends). I took my laptop into the car and stared at Tony's page until I got it. It worked just like you said, Tony. I spotted that the clamp was still not tight enough. Tightened it. Checked again...NO PROBLEM. Button her back up. This time, start to finish was only 90 minutes!
A quick test drive didnt produce any signs of the leak.

That's how ya gotta learn sometimes! How do you think I got started in cars? The tranny in my '87 BMW 325is broke and I didn't have $1800. I had never done anything on a car before.... but $500 and a week of time had me back on the road (with frequent trips to sears).
