Default Documentary on Cannonball

We are finishing up a documentary about the 1983 US Express race (previously the Cannonball) and are looking for any of the following cars in the Ohio area to appear in a shoot October 24th or 25th in the afternoon/evening. We will also be shooting in Los Angeles and NYC within the next 2 months. No one will touch your car and there is a stipend available. :

1978 Silver Porsche 928
1980 Red Ferrari 308 GTSi
1977 Black Ferrari 308 GTB
1979 Red Ferrari 308 GTS
1983 Blue Monte Carlo SS
1983 White Daytona Firebird Trans Am
1983 Gold Porsche 944
1977 Red Datsun 240Z

If you can help us locate any of these cars in Ohio, LA or NYC, or could recommend another forum to post to or any other way of locating these cars, please contact us at cory@gravidfilms.com or 310.314.0843. Check our website at http://32hours7minutes.com for more information about the film.

We appreciate your help.

I can't speak for the 83 Cannonball Run, but when Brock Yates (the owner of the Cannonball name) tamed it in 84 into The Cannonball One Lap of America I was in it. 8800 miles in 8 days with a one day layover in Redondo Beach.
We started North of New York City. The first set of instructions were:
Go to Boston, turn left.
Go to Seattle, turn left.
Go to San Diego, turn left.
Go to Miami, turn left.
Return to the starting line.
Then we drove back to Dallas!

I just received an update on this... lots of 928 pics here.

If these pics are any indication, it looks like the movie will have lots of 928 content!

Never thought of it like that, I guess it IS named "Daytona". (Maybe "reverse Daytona" would have been more appropriate?)

My friend had an '85. First time I've ever had a steering wheel jump out of my hands. Yikes.
