Crack schmack....i hope he gets it.
Hell, he's only asking about oh....10k more than the NADA (Kelly values all cars significantly lower) value for a good condition registered classic 83.
LOL.

the ultra rare 5.7L engine with 93,500 miles on the, but 73,5?? on the odometer! Real value of that stereo and "custom" install...maybe $2K tops (full retail).

Hood misaligned. Right headlight wonky. Front and rear bumpers wavy. Rear bumper shocks collapsed. Air dam damage right side?
"5.7L, V8 automatic with overdrive" - Overdrive? Anti-lock brakes in '83?

The real smoking gun (smoking oil vent?) is the status of the outfit doing the selling and their satisfaction rating. First, the guy is an internet aggregator. Meaning he sits at home with his PC and when he isn't downloading pR@n and in cH@t Rumz as "teenygurlz69" he works his e-Bay business. The cars are all over the country and he is just a middle man for people who don't want the hassle of working directly with eBay. His satisfaction rating is less than 90% which is a disaster.
I have an acquaintance who does this with country music and he has been so successful that he quit both of his day jobs and is thinking about buying a 928.
Anyway, if you look at the comments by previous buyers it is evident that he has lost control of some auctions, either through fouled up records or lack of attention to whoever got the bid.
Personally I never do busness with anyone on eBay whose rating is less than 98%. There are just too many sources of supply of whatever you are looking for to be bothered with the hassle. And I never, ever, do business with anyone outside of the USA except Canada and Mexico.
I have bought loads of stuff both for my business and for myself and I have only been cheated twice -- and would you believe by people selling 928 stuff! Once a die-cast model and the guy's eBay name went down the week I did the PayPal, and the other a guy who sells German OEM stuff. These experiences were before I had even 10 posts here on Rennlist. Now, if I need anything 928 you know I am going to come here first and ask.
BTW, I notice the company selling the animatronic love dolls is no longer on eBay .... Even at $5,000 each they seemed to be a bargain, especially the transvestite model "Andrea/Andy" considering all of the extra animatronic "equipment" ... but maybe someone complained.
Cheers you all ....

That seller must be SOME KIND OF SUCCESSFUL! He has 200+ listings (MOST all at way high prices!)...yet only has 33 feedbacks in over a year...
One look at his feedback - I wouldn't buy ANYTHING he has to offer.

Hah! No, not a Bad Thing (BT). There are niche markets for everyone and for everything.
I mean, look at me ..here it is 1300 hours on a Saturday. I'm in the shop, finished with invoices, looking over my shoulder at a mountain of Small Jobs From Hell (SJFH) and I am doing Rennlist reading and commenting. ....
Cheers!
