Default What type of steering wheel is this?

The car looks familiar, but does anybody know what type of steering wheel is in it? Kind of unusual...

Saw the white one sitting at Devek for a while. Could be a good deal for someone from a non-smog state... they might be able to get it cheap enough to afford new glasses, then the fun begins

Looks sorta like a 911 wheel with custom upholstery.

I was just looking at that same car last night at my cousins, we didn't like it, lol.

The second one looks like a 911 wheel with a custom pad. I like the way they call Amazon Green .... Blue.

Hmmm... Used cars that were 49-state legal can be brought into the state now pretty painlessly. There used to be a compliance fee that was nothing more than a tax on folks who decided to move here with their cars, but that was tossed by the courts in the early 1990's. Now, if you bring in a federal car with all of its own original stuff intact, it should not be a problem... so long as the tailpipe is clean. More than a few CIS cars have been tweaked to the point where they won't pass smog here or a gas station. Usually theu can be brought into tailpipe compliance with the correct parts and fuel/control pressures. The fun starts when you find a car that has no cats, air pump removed, etc. Once you fail a test here and get relegated to a state test-only or referee station, the prospects dim for that car forever. You'll be under the microscope for the rest of the car's life here in Cali.

On topic section: I've never seen a wheel like that, Nicole.

Nicole,

The wheel looks like the standard 3 spoke wheel that came on the early models. It appears someone has made modified horn caps for them.
