Rennlist Katrina Relief Fund & Commemorative Coins
Hello Fellow Rennlisters!!!
Its time for us all to come together and lend a helping hand to those in need. The victims of Hurricane Katrina need our combined help. We are holding a donation drive to raise funds that will be donated to the Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief Fund in the name of Rennlist.
Every $20 donation to the cause will get you limited edition Rennlist Commemorative Coin. (see below) These are a limited production and all will be numbered.
For more information on how you can help the cause and get your Commemorative Coin, visit RennlistStore.com .

Hi Macreel,
We are taking out a maximum of $3.50 from each $20 to pay for the coins being minted. If you look on the linked page above there is an option to not receive a coin, in which case the entire donation will go to the Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief Fund.
Here is the skinny on the coins and their cost. The more people who donate and would like a coin, the more we can get made. The more of them we have made, the cheaper they are which leaves more to be donated to the relief fund.
If you would like to support Rennlist at the same time you can always add a Rennlist T or Decal pack to your cart before checkout on the site.

Just wanted to post an update. We are 32 hours in to the donation drive and we have received 17 donations so far. Our goal is to reach at least 100 by September 25th. To do this we need your help. If you cannot donate please pass on the good word to someone who can. Please help us make this happen.

I have another question: What's the "throughput" of the relief fund to which the donations will be forwarded?

Thank You to everyone who's help us in the "land down under" but at this point in the game I'd suggest that you try to be very specific where you put your money if you want to help. I don't have any specific places to suggest but I've seen funds being misused that are given to some kind of general fund. If you can specify what the funds are going to; such as, the rebuilding of a certain area or project. You would be doing a greater service to our area. This is strictly my opinion and I don't mean in any way to take away from what is a good cause started by Rennlist.
