I know this is a bit premature, but I just want to put a bug in the ears of all you 'laid back' San Diego area Listers that might consider caravanning. It is my intention to get started Friday, October 21, late morning or EARLY afternoon. Any of you in Southern Orange County that would like to join up and help make an impression on the unwashed masses of SOCAL, make yourselves known and post here. I will try to keep this bumped from time to time for those of you with slow reaction times .

Friday night is going to be a blast! It is a major part of the Sharktoberfest weekend where you have a chance to converse with some very enthusiastic folks, munch on some good food, drinks of your choice (though you have to pay for the drinks yourself ), 928 video's on 6 foot screens and who knows what else....all of this in a great outdoor patio setting under the trees! Round 'em up Bill! You have to make Friday night!

Friday and Saturday nights are great opportunities to spend more time with the people, compared with the daytime activities that might be more focused on the cars. Great folks, great food and drink, great times! Plus, on Friday, you get to listen to all the inbound war stories. That's gotta be good for some fun!

Missing the evening gatherings is like going to a wedding and not staying for the reception. It's where a lot of the real fun will happen!

Randy but we need the Bloodymarys well before 9 am . The advance organization group is talking 7 AM the evolution display cars for each model year 8 AM ... Official kick off time 9 AM.... Coffee, hot chocolate ,tea ,doughnuts 7 AM . The free BBQ luncheon is scheduled for noon and I know you do not want to miss that ! see you Saturday.

I'm playing golf in Palm Desert this week and will leave early Sat AM for the Fest.
Hope to see the guys from SD and will park far away since I'll be in the Mercedes.
