I am also in NJ. I normally have Eurotire in Fairfield perform those functions on my 78 SC. I just purchased a set of Koni adjustables on ebay and will need them installed on my 86 S. The car still has the original Boge's with one leaking oil.
Thanks Rich

You known what's funny though? CarChick's Z06 got 27.5 mpg driving through NY with the cruise locked at 73. (The SBC lump is turning like 5 rpm at that speed

It would be cool for someone to start an official weight savings thread where people could add their scale-verified weights of various items. Kinda like the OT random picture thread where you do not post unless you have weighed something.

I've been toying with the idea of yanking my bumpers too. Mark's post aint exactly helping me to change my mind.
Kibbort is an enabler.![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I want to hit 3000lbs with my tail in the driver seat, the bumpers would get me about halfway there.

"Air conditioning"
If you yank the entire A/C system you'll save about 50lbs. If you just yank the easy to get to stuff(compressor, lines, condensor) like i did, probably about 40lbs i guess.

The rear bumper is only equal to 4 gallons of gasoline.

"Yanking the bumpers on a street car isn't the safest way to drop weight."
I didn't think so either...but if Kibbort did it...![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
"The rear bumper is only equal to 4 gallons of gasoline."
when you're 150lbs from your goal, and you've already yanked the 'easy' stuff....another 30lbs is a lot(specially when the front bumper is another 30 still)!
