Sharktoberfest Oct 21,22,23 the BIG ONE !
Now is the time to make plans to attend what many consider to be THE 928 event of the year. Saturday the 22 of October is a attempt to set a new world record for total number of 928s in one place! One customer I know plans to bring three cars. This years hotel arrangements feature a location much closer to 928 International with a much larger dinning room to accommodate the additional participants. So who wants to be part of this record breaking effort ? More details to follow... Last year 140 plus 928s and about 200 people! this year ?

If all goes well, I'll make the long, traffic-ridden trek to Anaheim for this. 
For those that have only lived vicariously through one of these events, you haven't had a taste of all the fun that goes on. Cars and owners come in virtually every flavor and style. You'll be in the middle of a massive mind-glut of 928 expertise, and have the largest parts inventory just inside that door over there.
Previous tech session subjects included things we are all interested in, like some nuts-and-bolts looks at the timing belt change, and a tour of the guts of the AC system. Both from folks who are at the top of the list of experts in those areas. I can't wait to see what the Sharktoberfest team has in store for us this year!
Plus: Food and drink before, during, and after. Really fun 'fun drives' that challenge the drivers without turning into a race. Ride in back with me if you want, or head up with the faster folks at the front. No worries!
And most of all, it's about the people! Friends you know from the various lists but don't have a face you remember. Friends you met last year. Friends you never knew you had! All gathered to share in the ownership experience.
Keith and Dan from the SoCal Group, Mark and his team at 928 International, and a support team of friends and volunteers all work hard to make this happen, and it shows.
Make plans now for some of the best weather that SoCal has to offer, to party with all your 928 friends.

What timing - I'll be in Las Vegas getting married on the 22nd.......anyone know of a place that has a 928 for rent? Or am I allowed to show up in a Volvo.

We are hoping to gather up a bunch of the PacNW 928ers and make the drive this year. Seems those of us that flew in and drove "other makes and models" were somehow left out of all the picuture shots....and had to park our "cars" across the road...hahaha..... Now you all know why that pesky white convertible mustang kept jumping into the chain of 928's on the fun drive...hahaha....
Really looking forward to Sharktoberfest 05.....counting down the days...
