Default SC'ed '90 S4 on EBAY! $15.5k BIN!

It's the wrong color for me (plus it's an auto). Awesome price as long as nothing is blown!

Isn' that the one the one a membere was trying to get rid of off and on for the last year or so? "HYK" or something like that? As bad as he wanted to get rid of it and the price he must have sold it for screams out PPI.

I agree. PPI is a must. But at that price my guess is that it will be gone before lucnh. Caveat Emptor!

Interesting.....it is a cobbled kit.....looks like Murphy's intercooler, but the bracket and breather system is not "Murph"............

Gotta be HYK's. Me thinks this one has issues.

i'd want to see a dyno sheet as well.
can't tell whose bracket it is. not murph's and doesn't seem to be delta-p.
single pusher fan (not sure that's enough)
breather system definintely cobbled.
rubber clamped on fuel lines on the fmu just asking for a fire.
gauges are pretty useless where they are.
hard to buy this one without going over it in person.

I think he posted a pretty good dyno on here a while back, if it's the same car.

Supposedly very fast, etc, but the car did have a lot of issues, and looked really
funky. Weird speakers, wires hanging out, etc... But it still might be worth
fixing, as long as the engine is in good shape.

Agreed, but that is not all bad....Delta's were aluminum and I would rather have the steel FAST ones than aluminum ones. No matter though, either choice would need to be upgraded to the Murph bracket.

single pusher fan (not sure that's enough)

It is not, believe me, even without the flaps in place. I cant see the airbox intake if it non existant there is no airfilter, but likely drawing hot air behind the radiator...

breather system definintely cobbled.

And as it is it will blow oil all over the engine with spirited driving under boost

rubber clamped on fuel lines on the fmu just asking for a fire.

I had not noticed that, and agree....fatal flaw.

gauges are pretty useless where they are.

I only see the fuel pressure gauge....kinda typical mount unless you go with a sending unit.....

hard to buy this one without going over it in person.
Absapatootly!!

Anything can be fast........for a few minutes.......This is the reason if you are gonna do these mods it is better to be public with exactly what you have done and how you did it. The problem with the alternative is that even knowledgable interested parties won't know how much to discount the package, for the potential damage done to the base shark by a Kludged install.

With out the dyno sheet, there is no way to convey from a distance that the engine is fueling correctly......

So a car dealer in CA bought a car that cannot be smogged in CA? Isn't that an issue? Cars must be smogged to transfer title. OK, don't point fingers at me and my SC'd car, but the dealer involvement strikes me as odd.

Just another "me too" install. These setups are a dime a dozen these days, don't you think?
