Took the test online for less than $30 bucks last year. Piece of cake. If you can get through all the systems manuals that i'm certain you have had to get lic. for your job this will be an absolute no brainer. Freeze 12 (i'm pretty sure) is flammable. It has butane or propane in it if i'm not mistaken. When I bought my big canister last year off of ebay the guy didn't even ask for the epa number that he stated he would require in the ad. I gave it to him anyway as I had the damn thing. Unless you have a scale and a heater might be easier to buy a lot of 4+ 1 lb. cans.

That job will involve pulling the hood(though I've heard it's possible to avoid this step), then pulling the HVAC blower out(3 screws, two above & 1 below). That will get you to the first pic at that link. I've heard the blower can be pulled without pulling the hood off but that it's a lot more trouble that way. YMMV.

Additional info to follow
1. I recommend removing the hood [which in my opinion is not very hard to do, 3 m13 bolts on each side, watch out for any shims that may be in place between the hinges and hood mounting surfaces]
2. Than remove the 3 screws that are holding the fan in place, 1 inside the car from under need - one visible from the out side and one in side the fans outlet side [in order to see and get to this screw you’ll have to remove the rubber transition (duct) piece that is located between the fan outlet side and inlet of the box that’s housing the evaporator (and in some cases the filter)
3. I will post more details of the repair I made to the flapper valve located in the air recirculating box ASAP

You guys with the GTS cars should have much less "contamination" of the evaporaor, thanks to the pollen filter. Clean/replace that and you should be in good shape.
Making the Big Assumption that there isn't air in the gas path, you should be able to predict/measure the loss of transfer efficiency using a set of AC gauges and a thermometer.

For those with Freeze-12 installed who think that they don't have a flammable gas in there... HaHaHa! It's true that the gas isn't flammabl;e while captive in the system. It's the leaks, when the gas mixes with air, that's when the fun starts! Many of us saw the pictures of the fire that Professor Ott suffered at the OCIC dyno session, when a tossed belt grabbed the suction line to the compressor and pulled it open. Car was saved due to fast thinking and several fire extinguishers that were handy. I recommend that anybody considering this stuff needs to call Louis and get a second opinion.
