Keith-
Don't forget to ask when them muffler bearings were last replaced. Or the blinker fluid.

"...johnson rod..." That's funny!

I'm sure glad I spotted this thread. I've been trying to play with this scammer to get more information out of him or her. What should I say in my next email? Here is the dialogue thus far:

Mary Ann,
This is the only email address I have. It is my work email address so I know it is working fine. Purchase protection is available for free from eBay. Secondly, eBay takes a fee from the amount I pay you if we go through them so you'll receive less money if we use eBay. Let's get this done.

Default address verification

FWIW : Google that address and check sattelite imagery :
http://maps.google.com/maps?oi=map&q...wood,+NJ+08884

and it comes back and looks like a residential area ( maybe in a not so good part of town) , so you may want to drive by if in area.

When an add states something like this .."...
including shipping costs anywhere in the continental US," and it is for something like a CAR that can easily be over $1,000 ! Something is radically WRONG unless the car is grossly overpriced. Also telling a complete stranger that you are willing to meet them and have $3,800 in CASH may not always be a wise idea especially if they are very hard to get in touch with.

Also meeting strangers in dark alleys with $3800 in cash is a bad idea too

What a shame to try and rip a new Porsche owner who thinks he has the deal of a life time. She could sell phony fords, but who'd pay $3800 for one?
