I sent them an email last night asking if they changed the Johnson Rod when they did the water pump and TB. I have not heard back from them as of yet...guess they are looking into it.

This whole thing is just insane! I almost want to see how this scam is supposed to play out, just for the fun of it. I mean what is supposd to actually happpen when someone actually tries to buy this car? At what point will the buyer realize it's a scam? and at what point will the seller feel like they got away with it? It's a perfect chance for a "sting operation" .
Although, i guess we should be flattered that the scammer thinks so highly of 928s, and seems to know a nice one when he/she sees it. I'm really wondering what's going to happen next...- Ruf

So I sent them an email back telling them to pay attention to my questions and screw Ebay, I have cash and live in Old Bridge and have a girlfriend in Spotsville
(I actually grew up in Jersey!) I offered to meet at 10am tomorrow morning as I was very excited and went to the bank today to get cash. I requested the address. I then ended the email by saying, that I was getting concerned that they were not addressing the johnson rod issue...hmmmm Me thinks they never replaced it and are trying to sweep it under the rug.
AAAAAaaa...I am probably just being paranoid. The car seems in such nice shape that I am sure they would have never overlooked something like this. I sure hope they give me an address!
