16" Phone dials will not fit an S4 because they will not clear the Brembo brake calipers, there was a thread on this not too long ago. I assume you are considering them for the 87' listed in your signature?

I have 16" phone dials on my 79 track car that has been upgarded with S4 calipers and rotors. Although tight, it does fit - the car was converted over 10 years ago with no issues.
The wheels on my car have been made wider using another set of phone dials for parts. I don't see how this would allow for more caliper clearance.
I have the stock dish wheels. I would like to either buy a set of phone dials then sell mine or just trade them out if someone is looking for a set of dishes. I can find 4 piece 16" sets, but they are all 7" wide.
Correct John the 928 NEVER had phone dials wider than 7 inches. And around here we believe that the 7x16 phone dial does hit the caliper on all 86 1/2 and up 928s. Something about swapping wheels around on cars and not being able to roll the car. . The low pressure cast aluminum phone dials are not nearly as strong as the forged S wheels (rear S-4) and are much more likely to get bent. They were how ever much less expensive to produce and that economic factor explains the use of cast wheels for design 90 wheels and all the C-2,993,Turbo twist ,ETC.
