I saw your 928 on ebay. Looks good. This is for the 78. I had already bought and coated MSDS headers, and the compression was set at 10:1, original valves, etc.

Hey man, that's some serious progress!

...and megasquirt is ready to be wired up.
Now that sounds like a very interesting project; good luck with it, and keep us posted on your progress.

Uh, well, I haven't taken my wife's "appliance" Acura MDX apart yet, though it does need brakes.... I also saw some suspension stuff for it on ebay....

Well, technically, yes - with the 78 I did figure out the wiring - I figured that I would remove it all and start over with this (I've posted before):

Universal 18 Channel Wiring harness

Less weight, and I get new stuff. Wire some of the original plugs on things, and it will work great I think. The only issue may be the HVAC stuff, but I'm sure it will be okay.

Back to t he V-1 -

These guys:
http://www.bearingworks.com/index.html

Can do cermaic bearings for high rpm and LOW friction, probably adding to the efficiency of the unit.

210-370 or so depending on if I need angular contact or staight ball bearings for the second set. (2 sets needed). The reason they are more is obviously the ceramic. Since there are two shafts with 2 pairs of bearings, reducing drag could concievably reduce the power required to turn the crank pulley on the unit. There is less vibration as well, so I may be able to quell the sound the V-1 makes by a bit.

Okay....so next year when you start that S4 call me and you'll be able to hang some turbines on it! I think in order to sell the Goldmember I will have to build an exhaust for it...3" single shoudl do the trick!
