Default Black & Tan '90 on eBay

Anybody have first hand knowledge of this car http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...rd=1#mainImage
The dealer's offer to take $4500 makes me wonder "What's wrong with it?"

How can the clutch be "nice and tight" when it's an automatic. Bidder beware!

Look, at the first picture. Is that a police cruiser's backside sticking out from behind the bushes? Looks more Buick-ish than Ford-ish, but maybe this is a sting operation...

Another thread on the same car started today...

Here's the same VIN for ANOTHER one for sale - also in AZ - http://used-cars.autos.yahoo.com/use...11c2VkLWNhcnM-

BTW - I believe that the VIN is for an '88!

This is what he will say:

"I'm sorry, I'm out of the country right now... But if you send me a $1000 deposit,
I will ship the car out to you, you can check it out, and if you like it, you can send
me the $3,500 later..."

Problem is your $1000 will be gone, and the car will never be shipped to you...

LOL,... The I will say... If you wire me $6000 I will refund you $4500 and give you the other $1500 once the car is delivered.

It's fine if you talk to someone, and can go look at the car, etc...

You just have to look out for strange deals where they want the money first, then they will ship you the car, etc...
Sometimes they run off with the $, and you never get the car. So just make sure you do business the normal way.

The car is located in Tempe, AZ. It has all the papers(complete) as well as the servicebook.
I want this transaction to be smooth enough as I am caught in the middle of some very important events and have very few time at my disposal. The car is in perfect condition, no scratches, no special marks, no need for additional repairs what so ever. 132 miles onboard, a great car ready to be yours. My car has no accident or any engine problem.
The price is $4,500 including shipping costs anywhere in the continental US. There are no other costs regarding this transaction.
Now, in order to be able to buy it please let me know if you have any negative feedback and, if this is the case, for what reason. I apologize for asking for such information but I need to be sure.
Please also provide me with the following details necessary to take a
decision:
-your full name and address for shipping -your ph# Regarding the payment I am aware of the buyer's protection and we will use eBay Motors secure payments which will hold the payment until the buyer receives the car. To complete payment the you must have cash available.
If I receive the requested information you will be informed by eBay during the next 12-24 hours.
