Looks like they dropped it in a vat of red paint. Spoilers on my Guards Red 85 928 are black! I'm sure that is what you are referring to, not the color, which suits me just fine. Otherwise, watch out where you park!!!

You say this because they painted the spoilers?
I like red but that is pretty ghetto...
Probably ala Earl Schieb or miracle autobody...
My car has an almost obscene paint job... a bit of overspray here and there...
The PO should have just left it original... it is hard to believe that anyone thinks that a "new" but bad paint job adds value to resale of a car like a 928...

hmmm bad part of painting it red to me is that is now a RED car with a BROWN interior!! Cant think of any car Ive ever seen with that color combo, from any manufacturer or after being repainted by an owner!! Wouldnt the red paint on the spoilers at some point start to flake n peal off?? Think it'd be tough to get the paint to stay on the spoilers anyway! A bump or two to the front spoiler & that paint would start to crack big time!

The front looks ok I guess...
I think it would work ok, if we did not know they had painted over the stock parts.
If it was an aftermarket fiberglass spoiler, we would not be as concerned about it.
The engine's clean though...
